This group is formed for therapists providing foster care and adoption therapy in their practices. The consult provides continuing education in the emerging theory and research in the areas of adoption practice, neglect and abuse, prenatal exposure to toxins, development of affective regulation, and the treatment of trauma in the specialized populations of foster care and adoption. It will assist in the practical application of these advances through therapy cases presented by the consult group. Limited to 12.
