The workshop offers an introductory overview of the field of art therapy. Material covered will include some history, theory, and practices and approaches to art therapy as well as general survey of populations, settings and applications. Lecture, readings, video presentations, art making, critical reflection, and discussion comprise the structure of this workshop. Held at Oregon City, Providence Willamette Falls Community Center.
