Reaching across social gaps and personal barriers in order to see another enough to heal antipathy, confusion, and judgment can feel daunting. Through active strategies, this approach encourages trust and brings clarity to a current situation and the roles within it. The desired result is an increase in empathy and a stronger sense of community.
