Courtney Oliver, LMHC. Saturday August 24 (8am-12pm.) Zoom.
The creation and use of dolls in Expressive Arts Therapy creates a mindful process that can help to externalize feelings and experiences. Therapeutic applications include processing grief, reviewing childhood experiences, identity construction, attachment issues, and complex trauma. Bringing the doll into form or “being” brings together the visual and tactile; working with metaphor and symbolism; play, storytelling, and enactment.
