Dr. Briere will detail some of the more common adversities and early traumas experienced by veterans and how they impact their war trauma experience and reintegration. He will detail the various psychological difficulties and symptoms that veterans experience and give examples of how they will look and play out when the veterans present for treatment. Dr. Briere will discuss some of the more effective approaches that are useful in assessing and treating complex traumas.
