Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment Training (SBIRT)

Rose Ness MA, LMHC, CDP  January 18 (9am-1pm)  Mountlake Terrace  WA

The SBIRT model represents a paradigm shift in substance use and abuse interventions. It is an evidence-based practice that is very beneficial and effective for those individuals who may or may not have a substance use disorder but instead place themselves and others at risk for harm because of their substance use. SBIRT is a reimbursable service with commerical insurance, Medicaid and Medicare (see website.) Taking this class makes you eligible to become a SBIRT provider.
