Attendees will leave with a rich and robust understanding of how shame develops across the lifespan, how it presents in therapy, and how to treat it effectively. This workshop places a multicultural emphasis on the relationship between shame and oppression, how that relationship can inadvertently get re-enacted in therapy, and how to avoid and counteract that pattern in the client-therapist relationship. Held at Puget Sound ESD Conference Center, 800 Oakesdale Avenue SW.
