This workshop will cover the historical aspects of Lacanian thought and the mileposts of the life of prominent French Psychoanalyst Jacques Lacan and its impact on modern and postmodern psychoanalytical thought. It will introduce to the audience the basic tenets of the Lacanian approach to clinical psychoanalysis based on “Linguistics” and it will explore the concepts on which Lacanian theory is based.
